These areas are under a Winter Weather Advisory. Other parts of Region 8 will see lighter amounts of freezing rain and sleet. Some parts of Region 8 are under an Ice Storm Warning, where 0.25″ or more of freezing rain could occur. We are not expected to get above freezing until Thursday, but the clouds will remain, and we will see very little melting. The areas with the greatest impact in Region 8 include Cross, Crittenden, St. Warming shelters available amid power outage threatįreezing rain and sleet will start again after sunset Wednesday and last until about 4 a.m.
